The League of Conservation Voters has released its 2005 scorecard, with stats on how each member of Congress voted on issues affecting the environment throughout the past year, and percentage rates based on their overall performances. For example, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) received 95%, whereas Sen. Elizabeth Dole (R-NC) received 0%. Nice work, Liz.
I didn't do so well in the congressional environmental voting fantasy league at my office. I’m totally bummed about my team, “The Nuclear Option” (Santorum, Dole, Inhofe, Frist, Lott, Pombo, McConnell, Delay, and Stevens). Lost me ten bucks. Somehow I thought they'd do better. I thought I could buy low, sell high - I was trying to set up a blockbuster trade for Kerry.
