Today’s Al Gore Video Clip is a bit of a flashback – the first in a two-part video shot by Spike Jonze during Al’s 2000 prez campaign. I realize this is a little less relevant to the topic of global warming, but it’s the most intimate glimpse into the life of a major politician that I’ve seen, and I thought it was a little more exciting than a clip from another talk show interview.

So, it was either this or a trailer for An Inconvenient Truth featuring characters from Futurama that is as funny as… well, as an episode of Futurama. And while he doesn’t decry global warming as the biggest crisis of our time, he does steer the video from its consistently light-hearted tone to talk about curbing pollution.
